The line graph compares the US dollars spent on books in four different countries over the period of 10 years.
It is clear that German people spent the most of their money on purchasing books over the period shown. By contrast, people in Austria spent the lowest amount of money on books each year, but its figure eventually surpassed those for Italy later. Overall, the figures for all countries saw an upward trend by 2005.
