Dear sir/Madam,
I am a resident of the South Avenue society and I am writing this letter with regards to the planning of closing the sport and leisure center in our community. I believe, it would be really inappropriate to implement this notion.
I am residing in this society since thirteen years with my family which comprises of my parents and two younger brothers. This center is an vital part of our lives as it is the only place where we all can play our favorite sports. Like me and my brothers love badminton and we are in the state team, so, we use this place to practice badminton every day religiously. Also, my parents like to swim there to maintain good health.
In addition, most of the elderly people in our community gather here in the evening to take part in the several activities conducted by the leisure center such as chess and carom competition. Indeed, it is the only place where these people hang out and relax.
If the center will be shut down then it may have several adverse effects on the local residents such as there will be no space left for the children and young people to play. Plus, senior citizens will have negative impact on their health because due to this place they get to meet people and enjoy which helps them to cope up with the old age problems.
Hence, I urge you to reconsider your decision as it might cause many difficulties for the society people.
