Essay topics:

Colleges and universities should require all faculty to spend time working outside the academic world in professions relevant to the courses they teach.

The speaker would prefer that colleges and universities should encourage all faculty to spend time working outside the academic world in profession relevant to their subject they teach. I strongly agree in so far with speaker claim is that spending quality time outside the field study definitely boost idle information regarding their courses which can ultimately institutionalized students in order to achieve surfeit information in their particular courses which they pursue.
To begin with, different faculty members who take out their time on visiting social sites and environment can achieve various new ideas and information in their field of study. For instance, if the professor of Sociology works in the field along with their bountiful students then it is quite that such students can easily students different social customs, traditions and rituals prevailing with the society. This sort of participation in the field study provide them immense knowledge regarding the formation of society and their ideological formation. Therefore, such students will be well-educated and can transfer their knowledge towards the upcoming generation.
Secondly, practical based knowledge will prolong and endured for generations. For instance, students who are guided by well-qualified and skilled professors and lecturers can proceed efficiently during their work field. Similarly, they will become competitive and well-fitted to the different challenges that comes in front of them. Likewise, such practical based teaching environment guide students effectively so as to be qualified and sustainable in the global arena. For example, students who considered bookish knowledge as their main source of knowledge will be always fall backward when time comes to show their skill in the working field. Therefore, theoretical based knowledge doesn't work at this date as this era is the era of science and technology where the people with acute knowledge and practical based ideas get survived.
Some may argue that working outside the academic zone make the students far away from their theoretical based information and hence, thereby they will be become dump and obtuse. As a result, such students won't be able to achieve excessive progress in their field of study. Moreover, the importance of universities and colleges study will also become decline. Hence, these will create deleterious impact in their educational atmosphere. However, this point is flawed since working outside the academic world not only bolster their courses but also give them direction regarding novel practices existing inside the society. Hence, this sort of practices make the students up to date with the current trends taking place inside the society and help them to achieve optimum success in their field of society.
All in all if the above factors are contemplated we can easily reach a conclusion that working outside the academic field in professions by the faculty members provide numerous benefits to the students in their field of study. Moreover, such sort of practices provide affirmative teaching trends within the nation which helps to build competitive manpower inside the whole nation.
