Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to register with your agency as a part-time civil engineer .You might wonder why I am looking for a part-time job rather than a full-time one?. The answer is that I am currently studying a master degree; therefore, I don’t have this option to work in a full-time job.

I prefer to work 12 hours per week, and also it is much better if you can find a job nearby my house at the centre of Cairo as I don’t have a private vehicle.

As you can see from my enclosed resume, I have graduated from Cairo University in 2000 with a cumulative grade of “very good”. Since this time I have been working in the civil engineering construction field- In particular, heavy construction projects that include bridges and underpasses. I have practised the civil engineering in several countries and recently I decided to return Egypt to finalizing my master degree.

Please could you let me know whether you have an appropriate job for me. Your prompt action is highly appreciated.
