The bar chart below gives information about the preferred leisure activities of Canadian children.

The bar chart provides information about five different leisure activities chosen by boys and girls aged from five to fourteen in Canada percentagewise. The share of boys that liked to watch TV or videos was the highest and accounted for 100%, followed by the figure for electronic or computer games with was just above 80%. The proportion of male kids that liked to ride the bike consisted of well above 60% in comparison with remaining categories such as skateboarding or rollerblading and art and craft which both comprised the tiny minorities.

With regards to Canadian girls, the figure for the percentage of participators had the identical pattern to boys' with two major differences in both categories skateboarding or rollerblading and art and craft. It is noticeable that if in the category of art and craft Canadian girls significantly outperformed boys by approximately 20% than in skateboarding or rollerblading the percentage of female participators was considerably less then male's.
