The bar graph illustrates the rates of males and females in Australia of various ages, who were doing daily exercise during the year 2010.
52.8% young men, those aged from 15 to 24 were involved in routine physical activity, whereas, the figures of women were 47.7%. But men of age group 25 to 34 did less physical activity than younger men and their percentage was 42.2%, on the contrary, the rates for women were more in this age and were 48.9%. Continuing this trend, the adult males of age between 35 to 44 were 39.5% and 52.5% for females.
Paradoxically, the figures showed increase in the rates of men from 45 to 54, although, the rates for women of this age gradually rose and was 53.3%. Subsequently, 45.1% males of age group 55 to 64 were performing daily ecxercises but the percentage of females of this age fall to 53%. Men of older age, from 65 and above did physical activity more than those aged 55 to 64, the figures were 46.7% and for women were 47.1%.
Overall, in Australia females of age group fourty-five to fifty-four were doing more exercise as compared to all other. On the other hand, younger men were involved in large percentage in the exercises.
