The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.
The given bar chart indicates how many female and male did regular physical activity in Australia in 2010 in the percentage term according to six age groups.
As can be seen the chart, 45 to 54 age group was the most popular group among women with 53,3% while it was 43,1% for men. In contrast, the male who were at 15 to 24 years old accounted for the greatest percentage compared with 47,7% for female in this age group. 55 to 64 years old men came to the second place with 53,3%, whereas, 45,1% female did physical exercises in the group. In female groups, 35 to 44 people were another major group with 52,5%, it much more than men (39,5%). In the both gender, 65 and over people represented almost the same percentage arround 47%. Finally, 48,9% of female at 25 to 30 found themselves in doing physical activity while it was 42,2% for male.
Overall, women dominated on men doing physical exercises in the age groups, except 15 to 24 age group in the year.
