The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010

The graph depicts the physical activities that are done by Australian males and females in the year 2010 where the x-axis represents the different age groups and the y axis represents the percentage of both genders.
The only group where males surpass females is between 15-24 years that is 52.4%.In other groups especially in the age group 35-44, there is the maximum difference in percentages that is about 13% followed by a 10 % difference in the age group 45-54 which is around 10.3%. The group that comes after this in the list is the age group of 25-34, here the male percentage of being regular in physical activities is 42.2 % and females stand with 48.9% in regularity. The only age group where both the groups come neck to the neck is people who belong to 65 and above.
Thus, it can be observed that in almost all the categories females exceed at least 50% in being regular in their physical fitness and the youth age is the only group where males are exceeding the 50% mark. This gives a basic overview that women in all the age groups are more concerned and have more will to be regular in their routines and can balance their work-life as well as fitness both.
