The bar chart shows the percentage of young people in higher education in 2000 2005 and 2010

The bar chart compares the proportion of young people entering higher education in three years: 2000, 2005 and 2010.
It can be clearly seen that for all figures the overall trend was upward except for country B. In addition, the percentage of young people in higher education in country D was highest, while the percentage of young people in country B was lowest.
Turning to the chart for more details, in 2000, the percentage of young people in higher education in country A was 35%, compared to 45% that of country D. A decade later, these figures increased significantly to around 58% and 60% respectively.
Regarding the other country, in 2000, the proportion of young people entering higher education in country B was 40%, which was slightly lower than that of country C, at 45%. In 2010, the percentage of young people entering higher education remained at 40% despite a small dropped to around 38% in 2005, while the proportion of young people in higher education in country C rose slightly from 50% to around 52% in 2010.
