The chart and table reveal information about Japan's population between 1950 and 2055. While the table illustrates the number of residents who are over 65s, bar chart presents total population.
According to the bar chart, the figures for inhabitants, which was 84.1 in1950, noticeably rose over the period shown before it peaked at 127.8 in 2005. As the graph says, the number of people who live in Japan will decline to 89.9 bt the time of 2055 after this increase.
For people over 65s, the amount was 4.1 million in 1950 and accounted for 4.9% of the total. This figure will rise to 37.2 until 2035, which will contribute to 34% of all people, and then will fall back by around 1 million but it is going to take 41% of the population.
In conclusion, As the graph and chart tell, although, in the future, the population will decline, the number of old people over 65s will increase in Japan.
