The line graph compares change that occur in burglary, car theft and robbery in the inner city between 2003 and 2012.

From an overall analysis, it is vivid that the number of cases of burglary in the inner city fell considerable over the period, whereas incidence of Car theft and robbery shown fluctuating trend in given time period.

Between 2003 and 2004, the numbers of crimes related to burglary rose from around 3400 to a peak of around 3800, though figures of Car theft and robbery increased gradually during the same period of time. After two years, incident of burglary and car theft were dropped drastically by almost 2600 and 2000 respectively. Meanwhile, slightly decline was seen in crimes of theft from person (robbery) accounted for 500 cases.

Moving further, by 2012, the number of crimes committed by car thefts in the centre of city had surged to around 3000. In contrast, burglary had reduced by the end of given time period which was witnessed at less than 1500 incidents, while robbery remained by far the least committed crime, with figure below 1000 cases each year.
