The chart below shows the aid from six developed countries to developing countries from 2008-2010. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart illustrates the amount of money which was given for aid from the US, Germany, the UK, Japan, Netherland, and Sweden to developing countries between 2008 and 2010. Units are measured in billions of dollars.

In 2008, the US and Germany spent about 22 billion dollars and 10 billion dollars respectively. The amount which was accounted for the UK and Japan were around 12 billion dollars each, and for Netherland and Sweden, it was around 8 billion dollars for each.

In 2009, the US reduced its amount for aid, which was 2 billion dollars. Similarly, the UK and Japan also decreased their budget, and this amount stood at roughly 11 billion and 10 billion dollars respectively. On the other hand, Germany, Netherland and Sweden increased their spending amount to approximately 13 billion, 8 billion and 7 billion dollars.

In 2009, while all the countries rose their budget, Sweden declined their annual amount for aid to developing countries.
