The chart illustrates the measurement number of sales in terms of various kind of films from a particular store in the years 2002 and 2011. Overall, from four different forms of film, rentals and DVD players were the more popular one than the rest throughout the years.
In 2002, rentals started with really high number of sales, which was just above 180.000. The following year, the sales decreased slightly, and actually, the sales experienced a steady decline until 2011 ( ended with around 50.000 of sales ). VHS sales was the second highest after rentals in 2002, and also reduced until reached the lowest sales of around 10.000 in 2005 and never had any income from VHS after that.
DVD was the least popular back in 2002, however, gained popularity among people and even achieved the highest sales in 2007 with approximately 210.000 sales. After that, the number kept decreasing until 2011. Lastly, blu ray was first discovered in early 2007, therefore, only had very little number of sales and eventually increased stably within 4 years.
