summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where possible

The line graph illustrates the varying proportion of three electrical appliances (washing machine, refrigerator, and vaccum cleaner) owned in households as well as the hours spent on weekly household chores between 1920 and 2019 in one country.

Overall, in 2019, all houses in the country owned a refrigerator and vaccum cleaner, while washing machine was available in only 75% of houses. The weekly hours of household work shows decreasing trend in the last century.

In 1920, washing machine and vaccum cleaner was owned by 30% and 40% of the household, conversely refrigerators were not available in any of the houses. A sharp increase in the ownership of refrigerators and vaccum cleaners was seen from 1920 - 2019, whereas proportion of washing machine’s ownership had rather fluctutaing growth pattern.

People’s began to spend less time on daily household chores like washing clothes, preparing meals and house cleaning. As more number of houses started using appliances, 50 hours of time spent per week on these chores in 1920 reduced to 10 hours of work in 2019.
