The chart below shows the percentage of whole world population in four countries from 1950 to 2000, with projections till 2050, Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

Given is a column chart not only comparing the changes in the proportion of population in India, China, USA and Japan in 1950 and 200 but also indicating the predictions for 2050.
As can be seen from the graph, it is clearly evidence that Japan was by far the least populous country. Additionally, apart from India, the share of population of the three remaining nations all saw an upturn trend during the research period.
Looking at the chart in more detail, China accounted for a little over a quarter of the world’s population in 1950, compares to 10% in the figure for USA which was considerably lower. At the same time, the percentage of India stood at 15%. Meanwhile, there was only 5% are Japanese in the worldwide population.
It is estimated that the population of China will gradually drop and would reach approximately 18% by 2050. By contrast, India is expected to be the most densely populated nation with a drastically increase of 12% to about 22% in the rate of population. Simultaneously, the figures for USA and Japan are both projected to witness a decline, with the former falling down to 8% and the latter to just 3% at the end of researching time.
