The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billions) of telephone call in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002.

The chart illustrates the entire average of minutes of telephone call in the United Kingdom. it compares three categories in the period from the year 1995 to the year 2002.

Overall, the total number of phone calls is fluctuated over the period in all categories. Evidently, as we can see from the graph, while both national and international and mobile calls were relatively similar in the trajectories, gradually rising, there was some variance in the average amount of fixed calls, that has fallen steadily.

With regards to total number of minutes made by mobiles (all calls), there was a consistent great increase from 2 in 1995 to 45 billions in 2002, rising in more than twenty-twofold. Furthermore, the trend of national and international calls is not so significant as the previous group. The average amount of minutes of this trend increased at approximately twofold, from 35 billions in 1995 to 61 billions of minutes in the year 2002.

In contrast, whilst other courses were rose, local fixed calls in the UK have seen a gently decrease, reaching the highest point of the trend in 1999 at 90 billions. After the tendency of increasing, it fell to 77 billions in the year 2002, reaching almost the same numbers, as were at the beginning of the mentioned period.
