Overall, what stands out from the chart is that the value of most categories experienced an upward trend, apart from that of gems and jewellery. Noticeably, petroleum products and engineered goods still kept the first place in terms of earnings, while textiles’ earnings from it’s lowest position in 2015 had risen on par with that of agricultural products in 2016.
Looking at the chart in details, there was a substantial growth from approximately 26 billion to 32 billion in the number of textiles’ profit, which is the largest increase. The price of engineered goods and petroleum products also had a similar pattern with the percentage rise were 8.5% and 3%, respectively.
By contrast, the value of gems and jewellery witnessed an opposite trend. The significant decline 5.18% was recorded. Besides that agricultural products’ income almost reached a plateau in two years, which was equal to gross textiles’ revenue in 2016.
