On the other graph, accumulated duration of housework falls about 80% to 10 hours per week. Despite the differences, a similarity is identified between the two graphs. Starting from 1980, both experience a constant remain steady trend with a slight increase or decrease.
Therefore to conclude, the trends of both graphs end in a constant line. The graphs illustrate contradictory trends whereas the upper graph shows an upward trend and vice versa.
