The charts below show what UK graduate and postgraduate students who did not to go into full time work did after leaving college in 2008

The bar charts give information about the career paths of UK graduate or postgraduate students who were not going into full-time job after completing their degrees on the year 2008. Overall, the trends of two groups of students were similar, excluding the part-time work sector.

In more detail, 29665 students continued studying in the school before they finished their last degrees, while this was the highest figure in four kinds of destinations. Part-time work group followed closely, with 17735 students. Then, 19235 graduate students were still unemployed after they leaved school. The numbers of graduated students with voluntary work came next, with only 3500, which is the lowest figure in this chart.

On the other hands, the number of postgraduate students who decided to studying continuously were 2725, representing one-tenth of the number of graduate students in same sector. Then, postgraduate students with part-time job were 2535, which accounted for more proportion in the group of postgraduate students then graduate student. Postgraduate student who were unemployed or had a voluntary work were also one-tenth of another group of students, with 1625 and 345 respectively.
