The bar charts illustrate information about except full-time job, the next destination of graduates and postgraduates in UK after they leave college in 2008. Overall a considerable number of those students chose to continue their study, while voluntary works were taken by a least number of them.

First of all, the number of graduates in UK were nearly ten times more than that in postgraduates in 2008. To be more specific, further study, favoured by most graduate students, was selected by 29,665 students as their next destination. About equal number of those students were part-time employed (17,735) or unemployed (16,235), while only 3,500 graduates took voluntary work after leaving school.

As for postgraduates, similar ratios can be viewed through the graph as further study remained the most popular choice (2,725). Those who sought part-time job also took the second place with the number of 2,535, which were slightly less than that of further study. This was followed by unemployed postgraduates standing at 1,625. A minimum amount students (345) would like to work as volunteers after postgraduation.
