Overall, the proportion of people that went to a cafe for coffee or tea in the last four weeks remained popular in all the cities except in Adelaide. While, people who bought fresh coffee remained the least Popular.
From the graph, the number of people who drank coffee and tea directly from the cafe in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart was slightly above 60 per cent. These were the highest figures overall. However, in Adelaide, the percentage of instant coffee buyers, and cafe coffee and tea drinkers almost plateaud at 50 percent with the later being a slightly lower than the first.
Furthermore, the proportion of instant coffee buyers in the last four weeks stood at about 45% in Sydney. Similarly, fresh coffe buyers stood just under this figure. Then, the first increased gradually to approximately 53% and 54 per cent in Brisbane and Hobart respectively. While, the later stabled at Brisbane and Adelaide at about 35 per cent which was the lowest percentage in all the five Australian cities.
