The flow chart indicates several methods that used by Australian Bureau of Meteorology to collect weather information and broadcast toward public. And computer is the common tool that all kinds of way need to pass through.
The incoming information of weather are collected by satelite and transmit wirelessly to radar. The detail then has two ways to leave the redar. One is to go to drilting buoy and this facility will create synoptic chart by using the details. The radar itself can also produce a world map to show the analysis. And the satelite can also photo satelite photo to give reliable forecasts.
The satelite photo, radar information and synoptic chart will be analyzed and then be delivered to computer for preparing the broadcast. People can get useful broadcast by listening to newsreader on TV or listening the radio. The recored announcement is also avalible.
Overall, the transmit net can make sure people get reliable forecast and help people to avoid bad weather.
