The picture shows the different steps to produce canned fruit. The production starts with picking fruit by hand and ending with the selling in the supermarket.
Firstly, the fresh fruits are picked and transported to the factory by large trucks. At the factory, fruits are washed and then they go through the quality control stage. After that, poor quality fruits are rejected. The high-quality ones are kept in cold storage until they are canned.
In the next part of the process, the fruit is weighed and graded. Next, the skin and core are removed before it is cut into smaller pieces. Then, the slices are ready to be put into cans, which are then sealed. Following this, the cans are cooked to ensure that the cans are sterilized. Once this has been done, the cans are labeled and then placed in storage. Finally, the finished product can be dispatched to be sold in supermarkets.
