The pie chart illustrates the percentage of transport types used and the table shows purposes of using car in Edmonton. At first glance, it is evident that the most popular transport is cars which are used to commute to work, take children to school and do other activities.
It can be seen from the pie chart that the percentage of cars used is the highest, at 45 percent, while there are fewer people using light rails than cars by 10 percent. Buses and taxis are the least popular transport, having the same percent, at 10 percent.
There are 55 percent of people commuting to work by cars, while using cars to business accounts for 45 percent and the figure for taking children to school only have 40 percent. The least popular reasons are shopping and leisure activities, which creates 30 percent.
