The following diagram shows how greenhouse gases trap energy from the Sun. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown in the diagram.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The picture indicates how heat been remained by greenhouse gases and human's activities influence in the earth, which cause global warming in a result.

The energy from the sun reach the earth by heat. The heat first meet atmosphere and some may reflected by it and then radiated into space. Some heat energy will reach the soil. The soil will absorb some heat, but a load of energy will be reflected and some will back to space. The greenhouse gases can cut into this process and trap some energy. These energy will be leave to soil and raise its temperature. The human's activities can create carbon dioxide, which is the main content of greenhouse gases. The cars and factories can release greenhouse gases into atmosphere. Although tree can absorb carbon dioxide, many trees are cut down so the gases cannot be changed into oxygen.

Overall, human's activities promote global warming by increasing the carbon dioxide emission.
