The following two pie charts show the results of a survey into the popularity of various leisure activities among European adults in 1985 and 1995

The two pie charts show comparison about what European adults do when their free time between year 1985 and 1995. There are five activities during year 1985, while six activities during 1995 period include playing computer games as one of break activity.
Overall, it is clear from the charts that watching television provided most of the leisure activities in two periods. There was 32 percent of adult people watching television as their break activity in 1985, and in 1995 at 30 percent. Therefore, talking with family activity was the lowest leisure activities by adult people in both periods, accounted at 18 percent in 1985 and at 7 percent in 1995.
Only in 1995, playing computer games was the one of leisure activity because computer was not the primary need in 1985. It took the second of majority leisure activity after watching television, accounted for just 27 percent.
Finally, it can said that in the period 1985 and 1995, individual activities such watching television or playing computer games, was more than socialisation activities such talking with friends and family
