The graph above shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of mear in a European country between 1979 and 2004.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given graph demostrates fish consumption and three kinds of meat consumption namely chicken, beef and lamb in a Europian nation in the range of year from 1979 to 2004.

The graph is about grams per person per week verses fish and meat consumption in which consumption of beef and lamb was gradually reduced at the end of 2004, chicken's increased and fish's remained almost constant.

From 1979 to somewhere 1989, people consumed beef nearly 200 grams per week and then it was decreased almost gradually until 2004. Chicken consumption was augmented from around 150 grams to near 250 grams between year 1979 to 2004. As similar to consumption of beef, food intake of lamb also went down from a little less to 150 grams to slightly greater than 50 grams. Also, averagely, fish was eaten to nearby 50 grams throughout the time period.

Hence, from the chart, it seems that inhabitants of Europian country consumed more chicken while ingestion of beef and lamb is significantly reduced in somewhere around two decades. But, citizens used to eat fish varieties at almost constant consumption rate throughout the span of 25 years.
