The line graph compares three companies in terms of their waste production in tonnes from 2000 to 2015.
It is clear that both three companies experienced drastic fluctuations in their waste output over the period shown. While the amount of waste produced by companies A and B was relatively cut down, the figure for company C by contrast saw an increase.
In 2000, company A produced 12 tonnes of waste, while companies B and C produced at a lower level, around 8 tonnes and 4 tonnes respectively. Over the next 2 years, the waste output of companies B and C rose by roughly 2 tonnes, but the figure for company A fell by around 1 tonne.
The time between 2005 and 2015 witnessed a downward trend in the amount of waste of company A from 11 tonnes to approximately 8 tonnes. There was also a dramatic drop by roughly 7 tonnes in the waste production of company B. On the contrary, the figure for company C rose significantly to 10 tonnes over the same 10 - year period. Afteward, in 2015, company C produced the highest amount of waste material, and company B was the lowest with 4 tonnes of waste produced in total.
