The Graph below shows average carbon dioxide CO2 emissions per person in the United Kindom Sweden Italy and Portugal between 1967 and 2007

The line graph demonstrates generally the amount of carbon dioxide emitting from citizen of four different nationalities between 1967 and 2007, and the gas is measuring in metric ton.
As can be seen from the diagram, the UK and Sweden, which make up the biggest amount of gas released, witness an downward trend while the figures for two remaining countries follow an upward tendency.
In 1967, the UK, which was the first rank in releasing co2 with nearly 11 tonnes, remained almost constant in 10 years before decreasing gradually to just under 9 tonnes in 2007. By contrast, an Italian generated only 4 tonnes CO2 in the beginning; this amount grew over a half and intersect the figure for Sweden at 7 tonnes in 1987. After peaking double, the CO2 quantity of Italy stayed unchanged until the end of period. In comparison with Italy's consistent trend, Sweden underwent two dramatic climb and drop in tonnes of CO2 discharged between 1967 and 1987 before declining in the next ages. In terms of Portugal, the least amount of co2 was produced initially by each person, however, the proportion of Portuguese went up moderately to hit at an intersection point of above 5 tonnes with the Swedish one.
