In general, the consumption of fish, lamb, and beef in the trend of decrease, meanwhile the amount of chicken was consumed showed a noticeable increase over the 25 years period.
Starting with more than 50 grams for each individual per week in 1979, there was a stable for the volume of fish was consumed in the next 25 years. In term of beef, after reached the peak at nearly 230 grams per person in the early years of the 80s, the consumption of product from beef dropped gradually to just over 100 grams for each person per week in 2004. A similar trend can be observed in lamb, the amount of that meat fall rapidly and hit the lowest point of 50 grams in 2000 and stabilize until 2004
