The graph illustrates changes in the amount of beef, lamb, chicken and fish consumed in a particular European country from 1979 to 2004.

In 1979, beef was the most popular food among chicken, beef, lamb and fish with about 225 gram per person weekly. After plummeting in the two next years, reached the highest level in the 25 year period around 275 grams per person per week. Throughout the period, the amount of consumption rose and fell frequency and at least gained the lowest level of consumption of about 100 grams per person weekly in 2004.

Initially, there was a similar quantity in the consumption of chicken and lamb with around 50 grams in 1979. The chicken consumption dealt with to fluctuate during 25 years while gained the highest level of consumption in 2004 around 250 grams. The consumption of lamb, on the other hand, after descending trend and experiencing an erratic behaviour, met about 55 grams per person every week.

The fish consumption, finally, were eaten with the lowest rate of consumption. Although in 1979, put in the high popularity with around 55 grams, after that year, it experienced the lowest rate of fluctuations and in the whole of the period remained almost stable.

Overall, during this period, chicken became far more popular compared to lamb and beef, whereas the consumption of fish remained constant with the lowest rate of popularity.
