The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011
The line graph illustrates how many enquiries informed to the Tourist Information Office in one city from January to June in 2011. It is obvious that the number of enquiries made in person and by telephone were higher than that of enquiries made by letter/email.
In January, the enquiries by telephone were the highest at approximately 850, which were twice of enquiries by telephone. In March, visitors enquired to the Tourist Information Office by letter/email were as equal as that in person, at about 650. Meanwhile, people called by telephone increased by nearly 1000.
However, beginning from mid-March to June, the numbers of enquiries in person grew rapidly. It became the most popular mean of communication of tourists and reached a peak of 1850 in June. At the same time, the enquiries by telephone were the second position at 1400. In contrast, the people enquired by letter/email were the lowest, at nearly 400 in June.
