The figure provides information regarding the number of visitors who traveled to an island over a period of 8 years.
First of all, the figures of visitors on cruise ships and on island had fluctuations between the year 2010 and 2017, but the trend was upward for them. It is obvious that the number of cruise ships’ travelers was lower than island visitors during the first 5.5 years (from 2010 to the middle of 2015), starting from 0.25 million and taking over in 1.25 million, then reaching to 2 million in the year end. Furthermore, constant number of passengers was experienced during the first year (2010-2011), staying in a level of 0.75 million. Then the number of island travelers rose steadily from year 2011 to 2013, leveling off at 1.5 million over a 2-year period (from 2013 tp 2015), and after a downward trend came back to the same mark in 1.5 million. Finally, the overall number of visitors increased constantly from 1 million in 2010 to 3.5 million in the year 2017.
To conclude, the number of visitors to a Caribbean island had an upward pattern in the related years, although it had some fluctuations during years.
