The given bar chart depicts the information about the academic staff members across the seven faculities of a major university during the year 2012 by the both: male and female. The data is calibrated in per centum.

Overall,it is evident that, the maximum percentage of male was in the case of: science, engineering, law, and business whilst, minimum was in the section of: arts, education, and medicine.

It can be clearly seen that, in the case of, engineering the percentage of faculity by the male was 82 percent which had been approximately 60 percent more than female percentage. In addition to this, in the medicine section percentage of both male and female was approximately same: 59 percent ,and 58 percent. Morevoer, the percentage of female in education was 78 percent which had been huge more than the percentage of male which was just 20 percent.

As far as trend was concerned, in the faculity of law, the percentage of female had been 40 percent which was 20 percent less than the male. Furthermore, in the sections of science, arts, and business the percentage of both male and female was: 62, 38; 42,58 ,and 63,38 percent respectively.
