Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The chart shows the percentage of students, and parents of students, at Jenny’s school who owned cell phone over a 14 year period. The table provides the cell phone ownership rate nationwide over the same timeframe from 2002 to 2016.

The chart illustrates a general upward rising trend in the number of persons who possess a cell phone at the school. For adults, the percent rise in owning a handset was approximately crossing 30% reaching nearly 80% up from 50. There was no steep growth rate and the growth rate was fairly constant in this time period and this trend was echoed nationally as reflected by the table mentioned in the problem. This is in stark contrast to that of the ownership rate of mobile phones by kids , which increased steadily ,jumping from 0 to 25% in 10 years but suddenly saw a dramatic metoric rise and reached it's peak at just under 75% in the next four years.

The table gives a nationwide picture in contast with the local picture but is reflective of steady rise in the number of mobile users and it is also reveals that the percent rise in users in the first 8 years is almost double the rise in the next 4 years.
