The graph compares four different countries in term of car thefts from 1990 to 1999.
Overall, it is clear that thefts per thousand vehicles in Great Britain were generally higher than all other countries shown in the graph. Sweden saw the car thefts increased while this figure in Canada and Sweden fluctuated.
In 1990, Great Britain have around 17 thefts per 1000 vehicles. This figure was reached the highest point in 1997 with 20 cases. During 9 years period, Great Britain saw a fluctuation on car thefts.
The car thefts in Sweden, France and Canada was low in 1990 with 6, 7 and 8 thefts respectively. While Sweden saw a significantly increase of thefts, this figures in France and Canada reduces. thefts per thousand vehicles in Sweden in 1999 were around 14, while this figures were similared in France and Canada with 6 thefts.
