One of the two maps represents the current view of the central area of a town named Islip and the other illustrates predicted agenda for development of the town.
Presently, there is a single main road in the centre of town but in the future years that road will be replaced by a dual carriageway. Also, the shops near countryside would be reconstructed into a large shopping centre although the countryside which is now near the centre of town will be far away due to construction of new dual carriageway.
Moreover, for the convenience, a new bus station and car park will construct near the shopping arena. In addition to this, new housing will be in the area near car park and park. The area of main road will only be used by pedestrians in the coming years. Furthermore, the school and park will be bigger than now although the school and housing on the south will be on the other side of dual road.
Overall, the major changes in the town centre in the predicted period will be construction of dual carriageway, bus station and car park but the shops between main road and housing will be on the same place.
