The maps below show changes to the ground floor plan of a university department in 2000 and 2015

The maps illustrate the changes that took place at a university department on the ground floor plan in 2 different years of 2000 and 2015.

Overall, the university department experienced a process of modernization, turning the area into a modernized area with more facilities but fewer greenery. It is worth to note that the changes in the North-east more significant than in the South-West.

In 2000, there was a big main entrance leading to the building. There were 3 seminar rooms, the first and second rooms were on the left side of the corridor and the other one was on the other side. The library was situated between the third seminar room and an office. Finally, there was a park lying to the east.

In 2015, the building was extended to the north, the number of seminar rooms increased to 5 rooms as 2 more rooms took place in the north of the building. Subsequently, the office was widened, which took place of the old library. The next change was that the park was demolished, which aimed to build a new library and a new IT center. The university department saw a new car park built below the office. Also, the main entrance and the street stayed unchanged.
