The maps : the plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now and how it will look after redevelopment.
The maps illustrate the alterations of the sport centre of the university in present and in the future. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for the replacement of the outdoor courts’ area.
To begin with the west part of the sport centre, the existence of a new leisure pool, a new changing room and sports’ shop has replaced the position of the west outdoor courts. In contrast, the middle part of the sport centre remain unchanged in future plans, nevertheless, the size of the gym will be extended into a larger size and it will connect to the east side of the building.
In accordance with the other modifications, Present to future witness the development of changing room and new café which were located in the opposite of new sport hall. Moreover, there will be two new dance studios that will be constructed where it was specifically beside the gym’s entrance.
