The maps : the plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now and how it will look after redevelopment.
The maps illustrate the alterations of the sport centre of the university in present and in the future. At first glance, it is evident that the most noticeable changes occurred for the replacement of the outdoor courts’ area.
To begin with the west part of the sport centre, the existence of a new leisure pool, a new changing room and sports’ shop has replaced the position of the west outdoor courts. In contrast, the middle part of the sport centre remain unchanged in future plans, nevertheless, the size of the gym will be extended into a larger size and it will connect to the east of the building.
In accordance with the other modifications, Present to future witness the replacement of outdoor courts to become a new changing room, a new café, two new dance studios and sports’ hall. Moreover, the entrance to the gym will be relocated to the east side of the building in between dance studios and sports’ hall.
