A glance at pie charts and table provided reveals the rate of importing fish from three different countries to the US as well as total billion dollars spent in years of 1988, 1992, and 2000.

Overall, the US spent 6.57 billion dollars for importing fish from various sources which Canada was the largest supplier at 60%. Besides, other and China had the highest export to the US at 27% and 13%, respectively. It seems that other countries section could win the race From Canada in 1992 at 46% as Canada export decreased dramatically, by 26%. Also, China marginally increased the rate of export to 20% in this year. The US decided to increase importing fish value to 8.52 billion dollars at the same year. Finally, in 2000 there was a significant growth in importing fish from China by 10% as its rate reached to 30%. Additionally, both Canada and other experienced a diminish in exporting of fish by 4%. Apparently, the US raised the fish importing value to 10.72 billion dollars.

The figures show that in the past Canada was the biggest exporter to the US and as time passed China could be replaced into the first position. The rate of Other countries export vary in three years and there are marginally changes when the competition was between other two exporters.
