The first map illustrates the layout of Grange Park in 1920 while the second one gives information about how this park has changed by now.
Overall, Grange Park has experienced significant changes since 1920, including the demolishment of several old facilities and the construction of new ones. Today, there are more entertainment facilities like the children's play area and cafe in Grange Park.
In 1920, there was a fountain located in the center of Grange Park with a stage for musicians to its east. Two entrances were sited in the north and south side of this park, connecting to Arnold Avenue and Eldon Street respectively. To the north and south side of the stage, there were two rose gardens with seats on both sides. In addition, a pond for water plants was situated in the northeast corner of Grange Park, with another rose garden to its west and seats to its south. There was also a glasshouse in the southeast area of Grange Park, next to its south entrance.
By now, many changes have taken place in Grange Park. Most importantly, the fountain has been replaced by a large rose garden surrounded by seats. Similarly, the old stage has been demolished to make room for a new amphitheater for concerts. The rose garden and pond in the northeast corner have been replaced by a cafe and children's play area. Moreover, a water feature has been built on the southeast side of Grange Park, replacing the old glasshouse. There is also a new entrance for the underground car park next to the east side of the water feature.
