The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given diagrams illustrate the differences of Arnold avenue in Grand park between the first opening in 1920 and nowadays.
In general, when the society starts updating new styles, everything changes as well, including the park which has various diversity in dozens of ages.
First, in the center of the park, there used to be a fountain or entrances in the north and south of it, but that water decoration is now replaced by a rose garden as well as surrounded by seats. Despite that, at the amphitheater for concerts position today, the performers used to play on a stage for musicians which was built in Eastern style. Near that stage in the past, they reconstructed 2 rose gardens while nowadays there is only 1 left and seats next to them were also removed.
In the east of the avenue, there are some significant improvements. Instead of building something similar to the past such as a rose garden, a pond for water plants, a glasshouse with some seats nearby, the managers of the park decided to replace them with a cafe, a playground for children, a water feature respectively. Furthermore, the park now has an underground car park whose entrance is located at the position that the seats used to be.
