The bar graph compares the proportions of different gender exercising frequently including young generations and old generations in 2010.
It is noticeable that females over age 25 had higher percentages than males, while young boys at the age of 15-24 did physical activities more often than girls. Moreover, Australian engaging in physical activities corresponded to approximately 40% to 55%.
It is worth to mention that women’s percentages beyond the age of 65 were nearly equal to men’s percentages, which accounted for 46.7% and 47.2% respectively in the analysis. In contrast, significant differences between different gender appeared in the group 35 to 44 years old by 13%.
According to the trend in 2010, percentages slightly rose from 47.7% to 53.3% when women became older, however, there was a drop by 47.1% in the oldest group aged over 65. In addition, young boys aged below 24 spent more time exercising revealed the highest proportions, 52.8%, which reduced year by year then went up again after they were 45 years old.
