The environmental issues are raising now-a-days at greater pace. Although a section of people argue that the main issue of environment of our current time is the extinction of a few specific plants and animals, the other section of people believe that there are several other important environmental issues. This essay will discuss why loss of some species and plants is one of important environmental problem, but why other environmental problems are the most important.
Plants and animals are the basic structure of our environment. Due to increase in environmental issues like pollution, deforestation cause several problem in the environment, and plants and animals are directly affected by these changes. While issues related to extinction of some plants and animals may lead us root cause of few environmental issues, but analyzing effect on only few species will not solve our overall environment problems.
Environmental problems have several variables, and each problem has some specific reason and specific solution to tackle it. For instance, the deforestation issue may affect some particular animals, but the effect much larger than this. A forest acts as a carbon and heat sink, which maintains the temperature of the entire globe. Thus, deforestation will not only affect animal but also affect human at large. Similarly, industrial waste treatment is another issue that need serious attention. If untreated industrial wastes dispose in river, they will definitely harm fishes and other organism live in water. But, this poisonous water if use for drinking purposes and harvesting, it will be more dangerous to all species who are consuming this dirty water. Thus, there are several reasons of environmental problems that need more attention and one of effect of these reasons is to loss of plants and animals.
To recapitulate, can you summarize major environmental issue to loss of few plants and animals? The answer is a definite no. Although few people believe that loss of plants and animals are the major effect of environmental issue, I believe these are just outcome of other sever environmental issues like deforestation and water pollution, which need utmost attention presently.
