Some people think children should have the freedom to make mistakes while other people believe that adults should prevent children from making mistakes DISCUSS

There is a contentious debate going over whether youngsters should be allowed to do mistakes or parents should take actions to prevent such occurrences. This essay discusses both sides of the view and then I will give my own perspective.
It is a well-known fact that the best lessons are learnt through mistakes. In other words, humans are prone to do errors but many lessons can be learnt by going through the process of trial and error. There are many inventions throughout the history that were only possible due to mistakes. For example, invention of Cheese. Moreover, If adults often try to control activities of juveniles, it will hinder the ability of thinking out of the box, resulting less creative future generations. Not to mention the stress on both parties if there is a highly controlled environment in home.
Those who oppose say that certain errors or mistakes can be dangerous and may not be able to undone. In other words, if someone commits activity which is life-threatening, consequences could be severe. Moreover, they also claim that there is no need for future generations to go through the same process of making errors and learning, given that adults have already gone through that path and learned lessons. However, it is must be mentioned that the experience and the joy gained through correcting own mistakes by themselves is paramount for nurturing individuals, and adults can allow children to try anything they need under their supervision ensuring no harm done due to such activities.
In conclusion, both sides of the argument have their merits. On balance, I believe younger generations should be allowed making errors since the experience gain through that process is invaluable and makes them more creative.
