Overall, it is crystal clear that Europe was always the highest nation which had the largest forested land. The opposite was true for the data of Oceania hit the bottom, compared other areas.
Looking at the period, how many forested land in millions of hectares in Europe increased steadily from 989 hectares in 1990 to 1001 hectares in 2005. The follow nation was the number of land in South America, stood at 964 hectares in 1990. After that, this figure drop slowly at 882 hectares in 2005. The maintain at the same hectares of Africa and North America, at around 790 hectares and 705 hectares respectively.
On the other hand, Oceania was the lowest area where had the data of forested land just only under 200 hectares in the period. The figure for forest in North American in 2000 and 2005 reach a plateau, at 705 hectares. While the data of forested land both in Asia and Europe increased, the number of hectares of forest in other areas declined.
