Thefts
The presented figure demonstrates the annual rate of the thefts in four European countries between 2000 and 2009.
It is obviously seen that Great Britain has experienced more numbers of burglaries, where Norway has had a few and consistent values during a large time duration.
Great Britain has seen two peaks of 20 per thousands in the years 2002 and 2006. On the other hand, the least values belong to Norway, and surprisingly, it has constantly been fixed on 5 per thousands for 6 years from 2002 to 2007. After Norway, the second country with the lowest numbers is Spain, and its steady decreasing trend from 2005 has even resulted in the least value of 4 in 2009.
Spain has had two peaks and dips fluctuating between 6 to 8 per thousands by 2005, while Greece has seen a moderate increasing trend for this time.
Spain has the same value with Greece in 2001 which is equal to 3 per thousands. Spain and Greece have had different falling and rising trends from 2005, respectively. The maximum number of burglaries has been done in Greece by 2009 with 13 units. However, it is still 2 per thousands fewer than the least value in Great Britain which is 15 per thousands.
