The predominant cause of picking a car is comfort and long distance to a destination point. At the same time, cyclist’s primary benefits are good body shape and health and negligible amount of pollution produced by their transport.
The two major reasons for choosing bicycle are health benefits and eco-tolerance. Both of them account for thirty per cent each, contributing almost two thirds, collectively. The third popular option is abundance of parking spots near to the workplace. In addition to this, about 13 per cent of cyclists consider their type of transport cheap, since it requires no money during rides. The smallest fraction of this category of people believe, that it is faster than cars.
Meanwhile, cars are more comfortable than bikes for 40 per cent of drivers. About one fifth report that the distance to their offices is long for muscular mean of transport. Speed and ability to move things to work easily is named to be the primary reasons for 14 per cent each. The least portion of car drivers prefer their type of transport because of safety.
