It can be seen that, during the year 1980, higher education comprised of 35% of expenditure, which rose significantly by 10% in the year 1990, and again declined in the year 2000, at 40%. Moreover, K-12 education consisted of 25% of expenses in the year 1990 which was highest in comparison of other two years. Furthermore, transportation accounted for 16% of expenses in the first year, however, in the years 1990 and 2000, 6% and 22% was spent on it respectively.
As far as trend was concerned, unfortunately, less than a fifth amount of expenditure was done on health and human resources during the year 1980, later on, it increased in the second year and then declined to 10%. There was a slight increase in the expenses on environmental services of about a mere 1% to 5% in the year 1990, and other expenses comprised of 6% in the first year after that, it followed a decreasing trend until 2000.
